When I come to visit, you will get a realistic Santa. I have no padding for my body and all of my facial hair is real. My compassion for the children will be evidenced in my interaction with them and adults will remember their childhood days as the spirit of Christmas is shared.
I have been involved with children as long as I can remember. I started out as a Boy Scout working with younger children – eventually earning the rank of Eagle Scout. My experiences in scouting led to a full-time job of working with children and adolescents with special needs, which I have been doing for almost two decades.
In the past, I have been honored to fill in for Santa Claus with my local fire company as we visit our local neighborhoods around Christmas time.
I
also sit as Santa at our fire company breakfast each December. It was here that I found the true enjoyment that comes from being able to “spread Christmas cheer one smile at a time” and share in the most wonderful time of the year with others.
I also serve as my local church’s children’s ministry director and work with different ages in my service in the church.
I have all my child abuse background checks, FBI fingerprinted and extensive training in working with children – thanks to my full-time job. I also carry full insurance coverage for all events in which I am involved.
